Liberty of London - Sunflower - B - Tana Lawn

The drape photo shows the best color.

Liberty Fabrics’ Sunflower is lustrously detailed and rich in color – printed in Liberty’s Italian fabric mill, on the inimitable Tana Lawn cotton.

Sunflower is a bold and vivacious print inspired by the glorious floral emblem of the 1880s Aesthetic Movement. The bold flower heads were beloved by our founder Arthur’s friend and fellow aesthete, Oscar Wilde.

For Autumn/Winter 2019’s Aesthetic Renaissance collection, Liberty Fabrics’ in-house design team drew inspiration from the adventurous life and artistic inspirations of our founder, Sir Arthur Lasenby Liberty. Traveller, tastemaker and gentleman, Arthur’s passion for globetrotting and treasure-hunting with his wife Emma forms the basis of Liberty’s enduring appeal. Inspirations swing from expeditions in faraway lands to the peace and quiet of English country gardens, via the opulently stylised forms of the Aesthetic Movement and Art Nouveau styles.

Tana Lawn cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in the cutting-edge Liberty fabric mill, located between Milan and Lake Como in northern Italy, Tana Lawn realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking color vibrancy. Use Tana Lawn to create sleek separates, statement creations or tailored daily pieces – the possibilities are as wild as your imagination. Tana Lawn is machine washable and durable enough for daily wear.
