A hardworking gilet. Make yours lined or unlined, with facings on the inside or outside.
Sizes UK 34 - 54.
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.
Skill level; Intermediate.
Fabric Suggestions – Dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, 7-12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twills or canvas. For the lining we’d suggest our barrier lining if using an oilskin, otherwise – cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings.
Notions:
Matching thread and a good iron with steam.
0.65M/ 3/4YD interfacing. We recommend Palmer/Pletsch Perfect Fuse.
