Mending with Daniela!
Visible mending for stretchy fabrics(hand sewing- no machine needed!)Mending stretchy jeans and leggings is different than mending regular jeans, but it can be done!
We will use stretchy fabric for the patches, regular needles and thread, and stretchy stitches to create mends that will stretch with the rest of the garment.
The stitching technique is more related to western embroidery than to sashiko (which we love for woven garments) and there are a lot of options.
We will talk about different patching techniques for different areas of the garment.
