| Instructor Bio: | Becky Johnson is a lifelong sewist, creative, marketer, event maker, and content creator. Combining her decades of professional marketing experience with her love of sewing, Becky created Portland Frocktails in 2018, and assumed the responsibility of running Seattle Frocktails in 2023, with the goal of creating unique and inclusive events for the Pacific Northwest Sewing Community. She has since expanded that vision, creating online communities for sewists, and is currently developing multiple media initiatives to shine a spotlight on the myriad amazing sewists in the region and their incredible creations. By day, Becky operates The Workhorse Studio, a full-service marketing and content development and production house that has created content for the likes of Google, LinkedIn, PayPal, Amazon, and many more. She enjoys working a few days a week at Josephine's Dry Goods to pet fabric and connect with the community. Becky is proud mother of 4 and resides in Portland, Oregon with her husband and feline sewing buddy, Biffy. |
