SEWING BASICS II

Thursdays, September 2 - 23, 2010
Wednesdays, December 1 - 22, 2010
Thursdays, March 31 - April 21, 2011

6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Class Fee: $100 per session
Instructor: Elizabeth Miles
By request, this class features time for experienced beginners to make more samples of basic sewing techniques and
work on their own project. Students will shop and sew multiple seam samples the first week. Week two features darts
and under-stitched facings; week three students create a bias tape facing and review the lapped zipper, and we will
finish on week four with a blind hem and a slip stitched hem. With so many samples, some independent sewing each week
may be necessary for students to complete their projects. An updated project list is available in the store, or
contact the instructor.
