KNIT TECHNIQUES

Tuesdays, February 28 & March 6, 2012

6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Class Fee: $80 (includes sample kit)
Instructor: Elizabeth Miles
Welcome to the world of knits! Learn how to use and control the stretch in knits as you sew a variety of seam and hem
samples. You will create samples of ribbed, bound, and turn-and-stitch necklines, and finish with a discussion of how
to choose an appropriate knit fabric for your project and plan the correct amount of ease. Save your (many!) samples to
guide your future creativity with knits. Sign up for Knit Tops & Dresses to refine your skills.
