Learn to sew or refine your technique at Josephine's

HAND SEWING ESSENTIALS

Class Fee: $50 (includes kit for samples)
Instructor: Marla Kazell

Every sew-er needs to know some basics of hand sewing for marking, basting, hemming and finishing. Practice a few basic stitches, discover when and where to use each one and learn to sew on buttons, snaps and hooks so they'll stay put. Class fee includes kit for samples.


REGISTRATION:
  • Class fees must be paid at the time of registration. Cash or check (made payable to the instructor) is preferred, but you may also use your credit card.
  • Classes may be cancelled if there are insufficient paid registrations.
  • Students qualify for a 10% discount on purchases at Josephine's Dry Goods during class session.
  • Sewing machines available upon request at no charge for use during classes.
  • 48 hour cancellation notice required prior to first class for registration refund.
  • Please plan to attend all sessions; there are no make-up classes.
  • We recommend the parking garage at the First Presbyterian Church on the corner of 12th and Alder, especially when on-street parking is hard to find.
